Disneyland Paris is located in Marne-la-Vallee just east (20 miles (32km) from the centre) of Paris. The park covers a huge 4,800 acres and consists of a number of locations which include 2 theme parks, a retail district and a number of Disney hotels.
Disneyland Paris is often called Euro Disney by Europeans and has become a very popular holiday destination since it opened in 1992, following from Tokyo Disneyland Paris was only the second Disney resort to open outside of the USA.
